I've read in your review the 2 most surprising things I've read in my life... the first is that many people don't like Jar Jar... o_O I'd have never thought about him as a dislikeable character :O And the other thing, is that Padme was only 14 during TPM :O I always thought she was like 18 or something. I remember that in one of the episodes she said that she was elected very young, but I've never thought that very young means this young. wow ( ... )

You're absolutely right that Trisha Biggar deserves much more recognition than she actually received. All her costumes are stunning.

I love TPM. The 3-D and the original version. I'm thrilled GL re-released it. Liam as Qui-Gon is beyond wonderful. And Ewan as young Obi-Wan is spot on. All the actors gave top performances imo. GL is a master story-teller. I know many ppl complain about this movie, but I'm not one of them! xx

I agree the 3D effects are not very impressive, but still I enjoyed the re-release very much, too. TPM is a beautiful movie, in many ways. I love it.

And I love Tatooine, so I'm glad there's a lot of it in TPM. :)

Thanks for this review!

Man I love this movie. I'm sad I didn't get a chance to see it again in theaters, but I'm not sorry about missing the 3-d version. The first movie I saw in 3-d was Dawn Treader and I was underwhelmed (and it irritated my eyeballs).

It was so beautiful that I did not know who to single out. But I can think of a few.

I know you feel like John Williams was asleep at the wheel in the lead-up to the podrace sequence, but as far as I'm concerned, he came through in the end (literally). Duel of the Fates is one of my absolute favorite musical pieces ever, and I also really like the celebration song which plays over the final scene.
