Don't worry, I also feel the same way. Worst part is I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD cause I already have the first 7. >.

I think it was nothing like the books amd they did mess up a lot of parts in it but,I like the movie, The part with Snape made me cry. But I think the part with Snape was the only really good part int the whole movie.The worse thing is I'm going to get it when It comes out on dvd because I already have all the other Harry Potter movies.^_^

Having just seen the movie myself, I can safely say that I agree with most of your review. The unresolved plot points, the cruelty to the Slytherins, the dark color pallete...everything. And I felt the end before the epilogue--the three of them just staring into space--felt like a let-down. It would have felt a lot more like closure if, as in the book, Harry had repaired his broken wand with the Elder Wand, and held his own wand in his hand once more. I don't know, that just feels more RIGHT to me.
