I'm definitely a Voyager fan, and I love epidsodes featuring the Holodeck. My favourites though are the ones where Tom and Harry run their "Adventures of Captain Proton" program.

I love Voyager! It's great to see a positive review of one of their best episodes. I'll definitely be checking out your top 10 and seeing how they compare to mine.

I also love the holodeck episodes, especially in Voyager.

This takes me back - I got into Star Trek through Voyager back in the late 90's and was a bit of a trekkie for a couple of years. I might start to re-watch again over the summer when there is less on. The British TV schedules are constantly full of Trek all year round on multiple channels.

And I agree this was a pretty good episode and nice to see a positive review.

Well said. I love this episode too. :) I also think that Voyager has some of the best holodeck episodes as well.

I promised I would comment as I get to the episode and so I did :)

Well, what can I say about Voyager in general - it has several absolutely fantastic plots, not only the holodeck. The next episode in the series - Displaced - is a great piece of sci-fi writing. Think of a race that captures whole spaceships and colonies like that!

As for Worst Case Scenario - I loved the first half of the episode and did not like the Seska part.
Reason - it was fun to watch how the crew interacted, how everybody played out that story, but do they have to create a life threatening situation in every episode? It is the only basic complaint I have towards Star Trek in general, that apart from few exceptions most episodes end up being someone's life at stake. Not to mention that Seska was not that evil in the early days and killing Tuvok in a holo simulation would have been a weird move on her part, inconsistent with her otherwise very rational strategic behaviour.

In general, Worst Case Scenario is one of the standing out episodes of the seires.
