Characters wake up in an asylum called Landel's Institute and are told that the lives they know are simply delusions. During the day they are treated like mental patients and made to endure mundane activities, while at night they are let out of their rooms to explore, fight monsters, and experience traumatizing events. The patients have no idea why this is happening to them, but it seems possible that a government conspiracy is involved.
