[CIssnei hadn't been able to sleep that night, her back had been bothering her. The itch of healing flesh always annoyed her and this was a really big itch. So she slipped on her shoes and decided a walk to the beach was in order. She figured the sound of the waves might distract her.
What she hadn't expected to find on her way to the beach was Axel wandering around aimlessly. She could tell from his general stance and expression he wasn't looking for a fight. Cissnei guessed that with the monsters went away the random bloodlust. She didn't bother to get his attention though, after all last time she meddled in his affairs she wound up with more than a few bruises]
[Axel's walking around the city aimlessly when he suddenly stops at a familiar scent nearby. Sure enough, when he glances over in her direction Axel spots Cissnei a little ways away from him. Well, if she's all right enough to walk, then maybe the damage wasn't that bad.
Still.
He glances away and stays still, perhaps waiting for her to pass or for something else to happen entirely. He's not sure. Axel's just never been the best person at apologizing, that's all.]
[ Cissnei stood still, watching him. It was going to take a while for either of them to make the first move so she sighed and decided to get it over with]
[Like so many others, Ven hadn't been able to sleep either. He had a lot on his mind, mostly because those new memories he gained didn't go away like they had for others. It confused him, especially how vivid they stayed. He didn't understand, yet he knew they happened. When he thought hard about them, he could almost feel the pain from the battles he had fought. It scared him, because not long ago, he knew those memories weren't there. And now that were.
Needless to say, he really did have a lot on his mind. Being up meant Muffin was up with him. He decided to go out and clear his mind with some fresh air, leashing Muffin up and bringing him along. The dog always cheered him up, so why not?
He hadn't expected to see anyone else out and about, and he hadn't noticed Axel until Muffin started barking at the figure. And once he spotted him himself, he couldn't just ignore the fact that Axel was out wandering this late, either. Was something up?]
[Hearing the barking, Axel stops and then looks over his shoulder towards the sound and when he sees Ven standing a ways away he lowers his eyes and glances off to the side, not...quite sure how he's supposed to react at the moment.]
[When Axel glanced over, Ven waved awkwardly. He was unsure about approaching the other male, but Muffin had other plans. The dog shot over to Axel, curious and excited, causing Ven to stumble after him.]
H-Hey! Muffin! [The dog finally stopped when it got to Axel, and he started sniffling him frantically. Ven, on the other hand, rubbed the back of his head.] Sorry 'bout him...I dunno what got into him.
[Axel happens to like dogs a bunch, so when Muffin approaches he smirks a bit, amused. Now when Ven makes it over Axel looks back up with a tilt of his head.]

You better have a good idea of how you're going to make up hurting her like that or I'm going to kick your ass, yo.
