09 Sketch || Accidental Video {Child Event}

-ri? [There's a noisy thud as someone's Mognet device hits the ground, turning on the video feed. Some nice close ups of the fibres of the carpet can be seen along with on foot of the bed and it's frame. In the dim light of the table lap, a little four year old red haired girl could be seen in a white nightdress, trying to reach up to the mattress

[Kairi's eyes opened slowly, and she pulled the covers over her head. Why was someone trying to poke her? Why did they sound like herself when she was younger?

When she heard 'something's wrong', she was wide awake. She sat up, and looked at...

A younger version of herself.]

Um...Namine?

[Who else could it be? But why did her own voice sound different too?

A scan of her body made her realize that she had somehow shrunk in the middle of the night. She had to bite her tongue to keep out from screaming, but she did clench the sheets around her with tiny fists.]

What's...what's going on?

[Namine gulped hard, taking a few steps back away from the bed to see her Other's own condition. So Kairi was like this too, and they almost sounded exactly the same. It took a lot for Namine not to whimper out loud. Why was she like this? Sure she was Kairi's Nobody and they had their physical similarities but nothing like this. Not nearly identical to her.]

I... I don't know... [Her head lowered so that Kairi wouldn't see her face, and her shoulder began to shake while she wrapped her own arms around her. Why?]

[When Namine whimpered, it took only moments for Kairi to scramble off the bed. She went to her Nobody and embraced her, frowning.]

It's okay. Don't be sad...please...

[Namine froze up when Kairi hugged her, and she quieted down. it was the first real hug she's gotten in her life, and she wished it under better circumstances.

But her shaking stopped and when she moved her head to look back up at Kairi, noticed that she was a little bit shorter than her too.] I'm sorry...

[She doesn't recogize the child, but the voice sounds familiar.] Hey, are you okay? [Mama Aerith is worried.]

[It takes Namine a few seconds to even realize that there was a voice around, looking around her for the source. When she sees the Mognet device on and recording, she freezes up against the bed.]

...A-Aerith?

Hm? [She was surprised that the little girl knew her because a name didn't come to mind. She points to herself.] Have we met...before?

[Namine looked away from the camera, gulping and mentally debating saying anything about herself. Her little hands make fist that clutch the bed's sheets.]

[She lowers her head again, trying to hide her face right now. Of course Aerith wouldn't know her like this.] ...Namine.

[A young, frightened looking Olette stares back into the video, tears brimming her eyes. Being back to her five year old self not only scares her half to death, but makes her emotional once again.]

K-Kairi? It happened to you too?

[Namine looks at the feed and takes her time trying to come up with a proper answer since Olette didn't know much.]

...Y-yeah. Are you okay? [Avoiding identity questions? Noooo, never!]

[Olette waits for 'Kairi's' response, getting worried as it takes her so long.]

Y-Yeah. I'm alright...just scared. [This is just really freaky to her. She had never been here when something like this happened before. At least this dramatic. The everyone speaking their mind thing was nothing on this.]
