Ron hadn't heard the initial knock over the water falling around him, and when the second echoed through the bathroom, he hoped Hermione had heard either. Keeping her pinned against the wall, his mouth was descending down the side of her throat, picking up water with his tongue as it went and groaning as he pressed his body into hers. The water felt good, especially after an unusually long day at the office- but it was nothing compared to the girl who it was leaning into.

A third knock, and he could no longer ignore it...and apparently neither could Hermione. Bugger, he was going to hex whoever was on the other side himself. Or so he promised as Hermione pushed him lightly away. "Ignore it..", he muttered, kissing her ear, taking the lobe between his teeth. "Probably just some Muggle salesman..."

With a groan, Hermione pushed him away. He was not making it any easier, either, with his teeth on her earlobe. "Stop it," she whispered, kissing him as she forced herself out of the shower. She was still leaning in and kissing him when she stepped out of the shower. Water was getting all over the floor, but she didn't care. Or she didn't notice.

After pulling a robe on, Hermione made her way to the front door. Crookshanks followed from his spot near the bathroom door.

Hermione glanced through the peep-hole and nearly died. Her heart stopped when she saw the person at her door. She very nearly let out a word that Ron so loved to hear her say.

What else could she do? She pulled open the door and smiled. Crookshanks made an almost approving noise and rubbed against the doorframe.

"Harry!"

Harry was relieved that Hermione was home. Even if they couldn't talk about anything, just her company would help; it would make him feel at home. If only Ron would stop being so stupid about it all.

He paid no attention to the fact that he had obviously interrupted Hermione's bath. It wasn't the first time. He kissed her forehead before entering, petting Crookshanks when he walked near the cat.

"Are you going out or something?" he asked once he had made himself at home, feet on the coffee table and everything.

Oh, he didn't want to stop it. He wanted to keep going- to pull her back into the shower when she stepped out and just forget there was an outside world. But, sometimes that was impossible..and he knew he couldn't argue when she made up her mind. Besides, it would only be a little while..right? Right.

He grinned as he watched her throw on a robe, and rested his forehead on the shower wall, just under the stream of water as he waited. And waited. And waited. Bugger....what was taking her so long? Ron hesitated a bit before grunting and reaching for the soap. At least he could actually shower while he waited, right? One thing out of the way.

But, when she still wasn't back...well, that's when Ron began to get anxious. And hesitantly, he shut off the water and grabbed the nearest towel, throwing it around his waist and stepping into the hallway. "Hermione, who's at the-?"

His words fell quiet when he saw Harry in the living room. And his face went pale then red, eyes quickly going to Hermione hoping she had a better ( ... )
