I think, maybe a while ago, we had this conversation and I recced you 'eyes big love crumbs', which is Hermione/Hermione time-turner slash. And it was well-written, and for a while people were calling it the best femslash post-OotP, but I guess it's just a kink I don't get. If that's even a kink? I suppose it is. A strange one, yeah, but a kink nonetheless.

ah, I love that story. I just put it in a recs set. I think what attracts me about the doppelganger kink is the questions it raises about the boundaries of identity. the self is never whole or transparent, we're always "beside ourselves" in a sense, and doppelgangers literalize that and offer an opportunity to explore it.

which doesn't mean it has to be your kink.

but I put your olsencest story in that same recs set, btw. I consider twincest to be doppelganger sex :)
