Speaking as someone who used to mod a game with a partner system, I wouldn't assign partners totally at random because then you'll end up with availability issues. Like, if you pair up one player who lives in Asia and is around only during the evening and a player in the US who's only around in the afternoon, they're never going to be online at the same time, and that's going to cause horrible frustration for all involved.

What I did was ask for time zones and availability on the app and then pair people up accordingly, which is more work for you and may not be viable depending on the volume of apps you get, but... well, it's a thought, anyway.

This is mostly unrelated, but this reminds me of something I've wanted to do with an OC who's metaphysically "impure", to go along with a "becoming a monster" thing powers-wise, and it's entertaining to think of it interacting in negative ways with "purity detectors" like unicorns or whatever, despite still being a virgin.

I would be all over this. I have to admit that I'd prefer it on LJ (and yeah you'd probably get more people on here) but I have been wanting this game so much that I would totally go to DW for it.

An OC game based on the manga 7 Seeds.

Premise: The world has ended. Ages ago. You were picked to be a part of a secret government project to ensure the survival of the human race. Four teams of seven were frozen in special capsules until the earth could support human life again, each team chosen with special skills in mind, and a guide to tell them what's up afterward.

Everything is different, and things that were once familiar and gentle may be out to kill you. It's up to you to repopulate the earth, and above all else, stay alive.

I absolutely love this idea. I've been wanting a "it's up to you to rebuild the world" survival horror game but I like the idea of this one just as much too. I think I may have an OC perfect for it too.
