I'm up to date on canon, but any advice and/or interesting thoughts on his character would be welcome.

I know, I know, it's highly unlikely anyone will have anything for me, but I have to tryyyy ;_;

Sinestro still thinks of himself as a hero in many ways- all he's trying to do is save the universe from its own chaos, after all. He displays a Puritan mindset, being repulsed by disorder and 'degradation' in all forms- his vision is of a universe in total lockstep.

His faith in the power of fear to make sentient beings behave as he wishes them to is absolute, and he can display a good deal of psychological insight when it comes to fear and what it can make people do. He is extremely proud and completely ruthless, and treats many of the beings around him with contempt. He's also very intelligent, as evidenced by his Xanatos Gambit in the Sinestro Corps War.
