General stuff. Might use the Daughter of Evil series. Any advice for alternate (and more substantial) canons? The manga... barely counts and I don't know how to get a hold of the PSP game.

I think you're pretty much on your own, anon, but on the other hand -- it's extremely hard for anyone to ever point fingers at a Vocaloid character and call them OOC, because characterization in this fandom is 90% interpretation. You could get away with cute innocent Len, tough grumpy Len, yandere Len, goth crossdressing Len -- basically however you want to play him there's a PV out there to justify it, so if you don't like the manga, my advice would be just pick your favorite video and build a backstory out of the way you interpret said video.

The most pvs that I think have the most substantial stories are Kokoro/Kokoro Kiseki, Daughter of Evil series, and Prisoner/Paper Airplane ( ... )

Agreeing with the first anon about 90% of it being interpretation, there is, however, one thing about Servant of Evil!Len that should never change, no matter which interpretation.

He loves Rin more than anything and/or anyone else.

Unless you've got a LOT of character development, don't forget this. I mean, the guy killed the girl he loved on Rin's whim (and fake tears), so I should think he wouldn't make a huge fuss to things less than murder. I have seen Lens that will question her commands extensively, and that just bugs the heck out of me.

I'm not so sure he'd necessarily agree with everything Rin says. He might end up obeying her every whim, but he might not enjoy it.

Look at The New Millennium PV, for example. Len shows overwhelming compassion for the people he sees suffering - perhaps his submissiveness is less to do with Rin and more to do with not liking to see people suffer.

He's repeatedly shown to be self-sacrificial, and I think that's the trait you should focus on.
