I'm having the most trouble figuring out what kind of posts would catch his attention aside from the laydeez It's great when I get him talking, but yeah- I end up staring at my flist going "would he reply to that? ._." a lot.

Alec is someone who likes to comment on things and stick himself where he doesn't belong, while somehow being horribly detached about it (even at the end of canon). I think he wants connections, but he doesn't have the social skills to make them, so he goes about it in the trollish manner possible. I personally Alec as a bit of a troll, commenting where he doesn't belong, putting his opinion in, but sometimes being very well-meaning about it (and other times not). He's a good guy, but he's someone who is more likely to project some image and put other people's things first and then himself. (Max does this, too, which is why they're similar.) I wouldn't be afraid of making him annoying, because he is, and then building on that, using that to have him get to know people. That's how he does it in the show.

Also, as someone who's been a fan of Dark Angel since I was a freshman in high school, so I'm so happy to see people playing it more. xD
