Jomy Marquis/Marcus Shin | Toward the Terra (possible spoilers)

Anon hasn't played him yet, but is planning on apping him in about a month. Taking him from about the point just before Terra, like, around Matsuka's death and the death of half the Nazca children, is there anything I should keep in mind?

I think the big thing is to keep in mind how cold he's gotten at that point of the journey. It's taken a real toll on him, and he's not going to be as trusting or hopeful towards human interaction. He's probably going to rub a lot of people the wrong way just from his initial distrust and tendency to poke around people's minds for hints of danger. Should be interesting! :)

Thank you! I get that, but what about interacting with castmates, such as Soldier Blue? That was my main problem, I'm not sure how he'd react. We know what he's like with Tony at this point, but obviously Blue isn't around.

Soldier Blue is pretty much what Jomy has tried to model himself as, but they've had (like uh...maybe one or two) barely any interaction since the big oop-i'm-in-a-coma-lol, so instead of being his conscience for the mission, Blue's become more of the distant ideal of what it was supposed to be. If Blue were to be coherent and aware now? I think as eager as Jomy would be to take his advice, he's very much his own person who's taken this journey himself.

Considering Blue's state, I see this-point-in-the-story Jomy fully embracing his Soldier status (something that Blue will also concede to), and will stand true to his convictions and actions until he's given reason to doubt himself. And when he does need that direction, he would seek help from Blue. Now that he'd be, you know. Awake to help a psychic brother out.

I feel like a Blue would really ease him back into a gentler state, since Blue was always softer in his approach.
