I've been playing him since about a week since the game came out, so here's some things I've come up with about him

- Relationships. I will admit I'm someone who doesn't understand Yousuke/Chie in Persona 4 and I do ship Yousuke/Souji. But no matter what pairing you decide to do with Yousuke-even if you magically get a Saki-there will be some level of development before he's ready for a relationship. Chie wants to kick him in the nuts half the time because he's a dick. And sometimes because she's just a giant bitch to him. This isn't something that really lies in sexual tension. Finding a balance there is important. The same balance needs to be there for Yousuke/Souji to work, as he's horribly dependent on Souji at times ("everything inside me changed," etc.). And with Saki, as I used her ... well, Saki NEVER LIKED HIM FOR A REASON. Even if it's a cross-canon pairing, I think there should always be this understanding that Yousuke is a Kid With Issues coming into it, regardless of if it's gay or straight. A slash pairing should NOT happen automatically for Yousuke. That would take time. A lot of time, if you're going to go for that. Yousuke and

Alright, having actually read this, now I'm curious. You don't have to answer if you don't want to, and I'm trying to leave it vague so the average anon doesn't get it, but...did you by any chance play a Yosuke who was very strongly associated with a...pinwheel? (If I remember right.)
