Coraline has healthy skepticism about the adult world, but new things are wonders to her, and finding the right balance between the two is mostly scooting back into the preteen mindset. Play up her curiosity beyond the realm of commonplace, and there's a lot you can do with her in a new setting. Make sure you let her take the time to poke into otherwise forgotten things and places.

Her experiences with the beldam should leave her extremely wary of accepting offers that seem too good to be true.
