Middle of the first game. Since it's a pretty big difference. She's not a Stepford Smiler just yet at this point. How do I deal with getting better CR (though she's hitting it off with one person with a similar sort of situation fairly well) and all that?

Okay...mid-first game. Let me see...

Miku's obsessed with Mafuyu. You probably knew this. He is her whole world, her only real interaction since she seems so shy. At the same time, it's kind of hard to believe Miku doesn't have a good grasp on herself around people. She's a polite girl; I think she would have met Mr. Takamine once and had reacted shyly but politely to him.

She should do that with others. Be shy, polite, but not so outgoing. If you have a Mafuyu, then ask the mun to introduce her to people. If not, then try to make friends through this new CR-friend she has. Try to have her listen in on friendly conversation and try to relate. If not, seek out people who YOU know she would get along with and try to find time to set up a log with them. Even a simple passing moment between strangers can spark some friendship and kinship.
