My biggest worry is that I'm either overplaying or underplaying her confidence and shyness. The biggest problem is that - and I risk giving myself away with this so bad, but oh well - it's a memory loss game. So she's still been profoundly affected by everything that happened, but she's also reliving parts and she doesn't remember most of it yet. So she's jumpy and a bit less trusting than most (though she was fairly trusting throughout the game and upset even at the last betrayal, I think?) but she's... having a hard time developing past these points because of the lack of memories of what actually happened. Or at least I'm having difficulty with it. What if I were to try to have her become stronger and more self-aware as she remembers the more traumatic events? Like she were to go... down from them, be more deeply distressed than normal but... start to develop further with each, and the more she remembers the less she goes 'down'? How does that sound ( ... )

To clarify the memory thing, the order is completely up to me as the mun. I like your idea of having her remember the castle before the death thing - I've only had her remember a bit of either castle or parents thus far (a little bit of 'general' stuff for both, but that's it).
And okay... she was mostly friendly with her roommate (if a bit jumpy about her) when she had one in game, and she's made a few friends and all...
Thanks for the advice! It really is helpful, and I hope I'll be able to apply it soon.
