Doctor Who - Forest Of The Dead Review

"Just this once - everybody lives!" that's all I could think of at the end. Stephen Moffat likes to save people doesn't he? The doctor dances, and even blink they just go to another time and still have a life...

I thought this was a great episode and definately one of the better of the series. I liked the whole memory thing and the hard drive etc. ( Read more... )

the doctor, theatre, doctor who, river song, donna noble, finale

Not-fine thing was wonderful, that is a whole different interaction from Doctor/Rose and I love it so much.

I know I love it so much. I think it is so wonderful and I adore those two so much. I love them together and I think it's great that it's not like Rose/Doctor at all.

I'm accepting of him giving her a screwdriver, because it was just so he could save her later. I can accept that. But he wouldn't tell anyone his name, and this kinda debunks my personal theory about the Doctor's name, which, long story short, he doesn't HAVE one anymore, and therefore wouldn't be able to tell it to anyone.

I have some issues with this episode, but all in all, it was very lovely.

I thought the two-parter was excellent overall - the fact that Future!Doctor knew how River's time line would end all along makes it even more sad.
