Oh lord, you don't know how happy it makes me when somebody writes W/E. There's SUCH a lacking nowadays. THIS WAS SO AWESOME! I can't thank you enough for it :D
Thanks for the comment! Jack/Elizabeth seems to be sweeping most places lately, but I enjoy a good round with the blacksmith and the pirate-wannabe. ;)
Isn't it just? When I'm doing historical fiction, I try to look around for words that would have been in use at the time, so that Elizabeth isn't yelling "Fuck me!" or anything like that. "Prick" is quite common in the works of the Marquis de Sade, which is a little after the PotC time period, but I figured the slang would be the same.
Thanks for the feedback! It's something to keep looking at. I'm sure I'll go in a lot of different directions with names for genitalia as I develop as a writer, but it's great to hear what works and what doesn't. :)
Thanks! It really means a lot for me to hear that it transcended 'ship lines for you. ;) And really, with the line as it is in the movie, you just know that Elizabeth and Will have engaged in some kind of pointy-swordy-making-out between the two films. :D
Hee! I don't really consider myself a 'ship writer either way, but I think Will is much more interesting than a lot of writers give him credit for, especially when he's dealing with Elizabeth. Thanks for the comment!
