She's not going to be back till sunday so... Her brother is doing fine, It's nothing too serious (broken arm and shrapnel) and he's eager to go back on to duty (which he will) after a short stay at the hospital.

If by short stay in the hospital you meant a long recovery then... yeah. We're looking at about another week in the hospital, then 30-45 days at home, [here, home, not the barracks] and after that we're not really sure. Maybe the Fisher House for awhile? I don't know. We'll see. I'm not sure how likely him getting back to Iraq to see his buddies is. Maybe he'll surprise me, who knows.

Well, there will be a pretty long update about the trip coming sometime within the week, or at least I'll try. That and I can fill you in during math or whatnot. But, in short, he's figuring out how to move around a little bit. We got him to go for a few short "walks" while we were there. He's got this strange looking walker with a crutch-like [but not quite] attachment strapped on. He's really beat afterwards, though.

I'm doing okay now I guess. I just need to catch up on all my schoolwork....
