North and South is the first thing I've seen Richard Armitage in! Can you believe it? I haven't seen Spooks S7 yet, but maybe I'll be able to keep going without Adam (though, he always be my fave---RIP). RA is really a phenomenal actor.

And I'm obsessed with this header! I requested it at FF, and it turned out so great :)

Talking about the costume drama, of course!

It was wicked amazing. My first time seeing RA in anything, and he beyond exceeded my expectations. And the characters! So 3-dimensional, so interesting. I seriously was invested in every single one of them.

Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE Austen fan, but I love how gritty N&S was. Yeah, it was a costume drama, but everything about the mills and the poor in the North was so hardcore, so realistic. The history major in me approved ;)

And thank you so much for the recommendations! ShakespeaRe-told is on my wishlist, as is Robin Hood. And, well, Spooks S7. That is, after I get over the idea of not seeing Adam in every episode :(
