Java I like, but while I know C++ from college days, it is pretty nasty.
Project manager positions sound more interesting. I have experience working for Ernst & Young and Manpower home office being one of three leads of about 50 to 60 programmers.
But how is the pay (that part I'll probably ask you privately), work environment, hours, dress code, number of hours per week expected, is it a salary position, any overtime, do they have a problem with "I'm not going to be here the following Fridays for the next year to attend conferences". That sort of thing ;)
