so i dont ave my tonsils anymore..

i got them out yesterday,

im still in pain and only able to eat popsicles and drink water... for like, a week in a half.

this is going to be murder..

My boyfriend had his tonsils taken out last December. Whatever you do, don't tear off the scabs. Even if they are tickling your throat, don't touch them. They will fall off on their own. If you mess with them, you will open up the wound and be coughing up blood for a couple hours and have to go the hospital to have your throat re-cauterized...it will set you back for like...another week. Lame.

did they give him percasets for the pain??

He was given liquid codeine. He felt the scabs tickling his throat, so he coughed to try to make it not so itchy and the cough ripped the scabs off.

oh damn... they said coughing is normal because of the feeling...
