My SV Christmas story, xmas ficlet the second. Not that it's very Christmasy. I'm not sure what it is. It's not shmoopy like the SpN one. Anyway, it's not too bad a way to say so long to the old year.

Gah, wonderful! I love their slow circling each other, the way they slowly come together over time. Measuring their relationship by the seaons works beautifully! And the ending!! *beams and fans myself* Thanks so much for sharing Roxy!

Wow! I love this!!! I know you must get this a lot, but these two characters written as you write them are simply amazing! The way Lex's mind works, how he's got this running analogy and is constantly comparing and contrasting, absorbing or casting off, and always looking beyond just the surface of things with that familiar zero stare MR gave to him. I worship your Lex, and here's a Clark I know deserves him and that he deserves in return. The patience is wonderful here. It's almost palpable, Lex's determination to just wait, wait, wait for Clark to come around and turn it in his mind, so that by Christmas it's probably Clark thinking himself daring and adult when all along Lex has been staging this seduction ( ... )

OOooh, my heavens, this is so awesome. I love the seasons, how Lex sees Clark differently in each one, how they are getting closer, closer...slow and perfect dance.

And the *apple*, hell yes, and rolling up Lex's sleeve, and the loft....
