What I learned from fandom and its many kinks is that I am not nearly as kinky as I thought. Anything I thought I'd like to read was there, as was a whole hell of a lot I'd never even think of in a million years. (Boypussy and Bugcock, to name two. Seriously, what's up with that?)

My horizons have been widened - nay, blasted apart! - by fic :-D I read things that practically frightened me in the beginning. Or else turned me on so fast that I couldn't fucking breathe ;-) Even if it's been things i never grew to like, I've looked at a lot of them,. And yeah, I sure did find a LOT I liked. RAWR!

Lately I've seen lots of a/b/o fiction, and I've tried it but don't respond much. Now, when Clark ended up in the family way, it was always a tiny bit plausible because he's an alien, and it was played for humor (assbabies!), but the a/b/o thing, I don't know... It can be done well or poorly, I'm sure. I'll just stick with h/c for my Bucky fics and be happy about it. (There's a lot of fairly extreme kink writing to do with the Winter Soldier and the team of handlers doing what you probably assume they'd do. I have a hard time getting into that, because I feel like a mama bear about Bucky/the Soldier!)

I knew this thing about dolphins, that they're kind of sexual jerks, but I can't remember why. God, let's not discuss this--next thing you know we'll be reading RPF fics in which the characters are raping dolphins. Or, y'know, trying *not* to read them.
