I want an ending that makes me go 'wow!' and makes all the time and effort and the vast gulfs of hiatuses worth it.

If it's something insipid or a total downer, I'm going to find Ron Moore and David Eick and then kick them in the junk.

Me too. I want such an amazing payoff that I'll forget about about the dreary nothingness of season 4.

Remember when the show used to be stunning? Gob-smackingly good? Yeah, been a while hasn't it?
Haven't watched last week's ep yet which speaks to our current mood regarding the show (I've struggled to stay awake during the last few.)Hopefully the finale will involve something other than Adama looking mournfully at his ship at she creaks. Something other than Sam chunnering on in mystical non-speak... actually, the whole cast can stop doing that, right now. And no more fantasy houses either. Blow something up. Go out with a bang. Make us remember why we gave a shit.

Y'know, if TSCC gets cancelled, I'll be beyond devastated. BSG's passing is barely making a dent.

Last week's was at least a break in the monotony, but most of it didn't seem to have much point unless it was a lead-in for the finale. BSG has dragged me down so far now, I'm not even excited about tonight. I hope it surprises me. I hope it's actually really good.

I fully expect there will be some Adama crying and looking mournfully at his ship though ;)
