last night, a promo came on for the OC (Adam Brody's character gives some girl an engagement ring that glows in the dark) and TSM was like "that's so stupid! who watches this show? it's so lame" and i was all like "well it's not exactly like we are the target audience, tons of teeny boppers watch the show yadda yadda yadda", as if i know all

wow, really? I never watched the OC but it was crazy popular amoung my lady friends 2 years ago or something. At the time I kind of felt like I was the only one who didn't watch it (I tried, once. dumb dumb dumb).

my one friend loves the OC. last time i saw her, her cell ring was the OC theme. i bet she's devastated.

personally, i already thought it was cancelled. wishful thinking, i guess. shows how much i know.

I'm surprised it even made it into four seasons. I read the cancellation notice last nite, and I was thinking, "Finally!"
I enjoyed the first season, even own the DVD set...but the second stunk, and I didn't even bother with the third. So much for clever self referential bullshit.
