you may guffaw when you hear (er read) this but i have never watched buffy! i took a communications course in university that had an entire lecture dedicated to buffy and i had no idea what the prof was talking about. but i DO remember gender analysis in there somewhere. i already have plans to catch up on buffy and veronica mars when i am in my 40s and 50s and have nothing to do on a saturday night (oh, wait).

p.s. kitten videos 4ever.

My first cat was named Kaibutsu -- it's Japanese for monster -- but we called him Bootsy for short, after Bootsy Collins. This kitty was a girl until I took her to get spayed, and I brought him home neutered.

bootsy is such a cute name for a cat, and it has such attitude, too. i am sure that any sister or brother of dr.snuggles will adopt an attitude straight away.

that is funny about the gender misidentification, although i am sure kaibutsu didn't find it funny.

I made a tutu for him, before we knew. Then I understood why he kept biting me.

i am totally impressed by your christmas gift buying plan. didn't you get your shopping done insanely early last year too?

i was forced to enter a mall last December and it was a chaotic experience i'd rather forget, but yes, i am usually pretty good with getting it done. my hatred of December shopping runs very far and very deep.

mmm. what kind of ben and jerrys?

actually, after i wrote that i was like "actually, a chick flick wouldn't be so bad right about now". i guess i just have trouble digesting that i am a big old cliche (like i secretly love the majority of julia roberts' movies. why am i ashamed of that?).
