so far, i am really loving this new season of Gilmore Girls. last night's episode was excellent! and here i thought it would go down the crapper (classy) because amy sherman-palladino was no longer associated with it. how wrong i was.

I'm so conflicted on this show because Christopher has suddenly really grown on me (how do they do that!) and yet I still want luke and lorelai to be together except with luke not being a dick. :( They are both so totally sad.

lorelai just needs to stay away from all men and instead spend her time with rory. but i do like both chris and luke, just not right now.

I got to watch last night's episode and even though I've only watched bits and pieces of random episodes, I kinda agree that lauren graham looks a little like she's gained weight. oh yeah, and how old are they supposed to be?!? It seems like Rory looks older and older (I've seen pics and episodes where she looks like she's 12) but her mom looks the same age through the entire show! I want whatever wrinkle cream she's using!

rory is supposed to be about 23 now? i think she's 24 or 25 in RL though. Lorelai is supposed to be about 39 now. craziness! i don't know how old Lauren Graham is, though. all i know is that i want to know what she does to her skin. i mean, seriously.

I totally blanked on the Lane being pregnant possibility. It actually kind of irritated me, as it seems like a cop-out thing to do so there's a plot for her to take up the entire season, ending with her having the baby for the finale in the spring. Eh...whatever. I really liked the scene where she tells Rory though, and their trashing of the celebrity baby names. I also liked how Rory echoed Lorelai with the Gwyneth reference, and realized that moms do make mistakes

all morning i kept waiting for you to comment on this. you did not disappoint!

yeah, i noticed lorelai looked heavier in the grocery store, too. the camera was behind her facing luke, but her legs looked huge! i am not sure why i've decided to point this out. i mean, as if pop culture doesn't have enough obsession with female bodies as it is, here i am adding fuel to the fire.

i loved rory's and lane's conversation about celebrity baby names! i had forgot about that. oh, and TJ reminds me of a more hyper Joey from Friends.
