maybe this should be behind a cut

just before i started typing this, i sat in front of the computer with my fingers poised overtop the keyboard thinking of what i should write. then i let out a huge exhale/sigh, which pretty much sums up how i am feeling right now: relieved, exhausted, sad, hopeful...and craving chocolate, but that is neither here nor there ( Read more... )

hey! it sounds like a very nice tribute to grand-tsm was had. as much as these things are very sad times, i like the thought of everyone coming together to celebrate the person's life and how everyone was affected by them. i used to be very "anti-funeral", but i am seeing how one can help someone grieve and celebrate the person's life. anyways, i also thoroughly enjoyed your comments about the people telling tsm to make an "honest" women out of you. weren't you voted "best liar"? how contradictive! (is that a word?) anyways, i have this "feeling" that your honestness might come sooner, considering the circumstances tsm has been through. i don't know why, but i just have this feeling... (like yours, mine is probably HORRIBLY wrong, but whatevs) i thought it might make you smile anyways. :)

funerals really bring people together, that is for sure. TSM has already stated that at his funeral, he wants a keg of beer, chicken wings, and boobies. I AM DATING A CLASSY MAN. i told him that my boobies would have to suffice.

and SCORE FOR YOUR FEELING! i hope it turns out better that my feeling re: you and Dylan in, what, grade 10? shiz, we were so lame back then, but i swear, i had a feeling!

I'm glad my grandma's funeral was fairly light hearted - people cried but we shared so many memories of her playing jokes that everyone laughed a lot too.

At my dad's we're having Blues and BBQ. And maybe Windsor.

i like the idea of it being a celebration, too. i have been to many irish wakes involving much alcohol to know that funerals aren't entirely depressing!

wow, what an emotional and hard couple of days. I was almost blubbering just reading about it. the funeral sounds like it was a really great acknowledgment of his grandpa's life. that is also so great that they all included you as one of their family, that has got to be such a wonderful feeling!

TSM's family is amazing. his parents are the most generous people i've ever met and they've really been put through the ringer these last couple of months. that is why we are all so excited for this puppy! because of my hightened emotions, i almost started crying about this puppy yesterday, a puppy that i have never even met! i seriously need to be tranquilized. or, rather, my emotions do!

i'm not even emotional and puppies make me want to cry, but then again that's cause I want one SO BADLY! almost more than I want to move to Massachusetts.

anyway, I hope you will be able to eventually post pictures of this bulldog pup, they are such cute doggies.

Yay for being included in TSM's family - woohoo. Sounds like it was a pretty good experience (as good as a funeral can be) and I know that TSM was glad you were there (duh!). Now about that ring...

now about that ring is right! ha. actually, before yesterday, i wasn't in a very anxious phase to get married, but there is something about being with family and reflecting on the past that gets me jonesing for some marriage and babies. this? needs to be stopped, and will with time, i am sure. i hope!

I thought stuff like significant others going up and rubbing backs during trying times only happened on tv. That was really sweet.

My funeral is going to be a full blown party. I just hope people show up or else I will have to haunt them from the grave.

I cannont wait for pictures of Bubba. I'm serious. I want to see pictures NOW (even if it is not Bubba you can post pictures of bulldog puppies).

oh, robyn! sounds like it was as good as it could have been, you know? funerals are so hard.

tsm is lucky to have you to rub his back. that was the sweetest.
