so i have fallen in love with a cookbook, which is the first time this has ever happened before, so i'm awfully nervous and bashful to talk about it, but there you go. the cookbook to which i am referring is Vegan with a Vengeance. not only does it have tasty, easy recipes, but it has witty banter, punk rock tips, AND A WHOLE CHAPTER FOR SCONES ( Read more... )

THose muffins and scones look amazing! I have been trying to get mr. P to make some scones and so far all he has made is peach torte (umm, I am not complaining or anything!).

Yes, now I understand the vegan applesauce (plus your other comment cleared it up).

dude, I am drooling all over my desk.

those stuffed peppers!!! I LOVE stuffed peppers! And the scones! And the muffins! That apple sauce is so chunky too, it looks GOOD. I need this cook book! I have two vegan cookbooks and neither of them has recipes for anything that looks as good as this stuff.

I'll have to put on jewelry and a nice vintage dress and apron though.

Which could be all the more reason to make scones--any opportunity to dress up!
