my commitment to coffee

at lunch, i walked over to the library to read. it was looking grey and foreboding out. soon enough, the rain started pouring down, like "cats and dogs" pouring down. awesome when i am at home in expandable pants drinking tea, but sucks when i am stuck at the library wearing a white t-shirt, sandals, and having no umbrella in my possession ( Read more... )

that sounds EXACTLY like something I would do.. it is definitely worth it though, I mean you can use the umbrella again AND you have coffee! it's a win/win in my book.

also, I deserve no scone or muffin today - guess what I went home and had for dinner last night? yes, rising crust pizza. it was totally Jon's idea, but it was SO GOOD!

i had rising crust pizza too! and i had leftovers for lunch. we are just going to pretend that my blueberry buttermilk muffin doesn't have any fat or calories today (btw, it was delish! no hint of tobacco at all.)

i know here the city, as soon as it starts raining stores add on like $5 to the price of umbrellas, it sucks!

it was around $12, which i didn't think was too bad. i actually brought it to the cash register without knowing how much it cost and not really caring because i was that desperate!
