I mostly like the pic - and now the "but" part: except for the pitch black parts. They don't really fit. To my "untrained" eyes.
For me it's easy to complain, I can't even draw as you did in the beginning :-)

Your comments on my drawings hardly go without a "but". But that´s fine with me. ;)

I know what you mean, I actually don´t like that either, but I have no idea, how to do it different, esp. since the original is just as (blurry) dark. You don´t see lighter parts in those dark parts. Maybe I should have done it a touch lighter... *scratches head*
