So, here I am, 9:30 at night, doing my frickin history essay thing, and we're on the Civil War unit. (For those of you who don't know, the US Civil War was when the Northern states fought against the Southern states in the 1860s because the South wanted to keep slavery on the plantations, and the North wanted to abolish it.) Omg, I just took my test on the slaves, the compromise of some date i can't remember, and the election of some date i can't remember, yestderday. I got an 84... :( I got this one question qrong about the Free Soil Party, and some others.... We are starting the civil war tomorrow, is it boring.

Compromise of 1850! XD Right? As for the election.... lol.. there were lots that we learned about, and i don't remember which ones were important, lol :P Hey, 84's not that bad. Better than I'm gonna do on this essay I have to do.. I've been working on it forEVER! :S And yeah, I agree, it is kind of boring... *sigh* history in general is. Especially because i'm in 11th grade, so this is the third or fourth time I have learned this stuff. Ugh.

The election with Lincoln, I think it's 1860. I'm in the 8th grade so like i know the event but we are going in depth.

Yeah, I think I liked 8th grade US history more than I like this year's. It's just kind of repeated of 8th grade :\

OMG I live in Australia and we r doing the Civil War and how to kill a mocking bird in english! I think my teachers got the subjects confused :P But then again this whole thing is confusing! Hope u got a good grade!
