I like the look of them against a white background, definitely, but as I currently don't use a layout with such a background, I prefer the regular style ;-)

I like userpics with and without frames. But for those who use white backgrounds, the frame is lost in the sea of white. So while I like both, in truth I prefer the userpics without frames. YOUR WORK IS GREAT EITHER WAY!

I really dislike them a lot, and I was sad because there were so many wonderful icons in that batch but I really couldn't use any.
