Patreon Makes Itself Irrelevant

I have a Patreon that brings in enough for a tank of gas every month, and I lost one of my $1 supporters over this. She pulled her support from me to support someone else at a higher level. Which is fine--I don't rely on my Patreon and that other author does. But it's impacting everyone. *sigh*

And as a supporter, I'm annoyed that the creators I support will be getting less.

I ended up signing up for a Kofi account, and I applied for an invitation to Kickstarter's Drip beta, which is probably being inundated with applications after Patreon's idiocy this week. But again, I don't rely on this income.

Maybe Paypal will aggregate since it's already storing money or whatever?
