Lut is still at the hospital. He's in a regular room now, and he's off the IV and the monitoring equipment, which is nice (no more wires to worry about every time he moves). He's been eating on his own. He gets up a couple of times a day, with assistance, and sits in the hospital room recliner or stands by the window for a little bit. Other than

This thing is a major purchase no matter how austere you try to make it, and new, it's going to be with you for a long time. To make the most of your money, you're going to have this thing for 100,000 to 200,000 miles and beyond. Make it something that will be at least pleasant to drive, don't go bound and determined to get bare iron seats and an auto-flagellator. :) It shouldn't be a punishment, it doesn't have to be.
