Two Book Reviews: "Magic Banquet" and "Dark Lord's Wedding", both by AE Marling

I read this book while on the plane to North Carolina to visit my parents, back in June. It took me a little while to fully engage with it, but by the halfway mark I didn't want to put it down. In fact, I stayed up an extra half hour to finish it (at like 1AM) at my parents' house. It's a standalone novel, but there's another book in the setting

This sounds just right. I had that opinion about Magic Banquet; really enjoyed it. I've read the other books so I saw Magic Banquet as a digression.
