If my life doesn’t straighten up soon…well, at least my apartment will. Sometimes, when I’m in a bad mood, I’ll clean. This goes along the lines of, “If I’m not going to have a good time anyway, I might as well get something productive done.” Yesterday I vacuumed the den. Yay

But I think I understand. Our computers resent being overworked, and eventually, occasionally they just "take a sick day"...but because we designed them to be basically law-abiding, they grumble and come back to work....
Computers are just another type of disgruntled service sector worker. wow.
Silicon rights now. Maybe a better CR policy would result in less down time ? What are perks to a computer anyway?
It certainly explains that awful Christmas Day crash I had three years ago...I blamed that on a virus contacted through Microsoft's update site.
But noooo....my computer was just feeling like I do at semester end...but IT was getting a break. In fact it's work load was increasing!
