I have a bunch of stupid little thoughts in my head that I should probably tweet instead of rambling endlessly here, because that's what Twitter's for, but I just can't seem to get into tweeting things ( Read more... )

*purrs for poor inner child*

It's only a little while before you start writing Flight Rising fanfic to satisfy that craving! Or crossovers! Greatcats and dragons. Which one gets to be the familiar who gets petted all the time and which one has to go out and kill stuff and bring home treasure?

"Writing more Flight Rising fanfic" was the other thing I was thinking of doing, instead of this entry. -_-

The FR void for me has been replaced with drawing FR art, thinking of character personalities, devolving my stream chats into FR talk with friends (subsequently turning into a Show & Tell with everyone and their dragons).

I am cautious about the attraction to fandom being higher then important stuff, but dang, it is a lot of FUN. :D

(Re fic-writing: I love stumbling into someones dragon and finding their info page containing a story, it is seriously the best prize for having a closer look).

I have thought about writing more of my FR fanfic, but I am trying to get through an original fic novel that I've been working on since February, so I'm putting that first.

I ought to update my dragon descriptions with bits from the one fic that I did finish, though. If/when FR returns ... SIGH.

12 minutes for a mile was the limit for getting a passing grade in high school gym. I never managed it, even once. x.x

Phys Ed was one of those classes where I'd scrape through with a D- because I could manage, say, a C in badminton and an A on the written test.

My school graded Phys Ed as pass/fail, and I think you could only fail by not showing up. MAYBE if you showed up but refused to do anything, they would fail you. I'm not sure. c_c

I have never managed a 12 minute mile either.I think like 12:30 is the best I've done.
