Let's have some fun, though, and attempt to sum up ( Read more... )

about post college having your friends scatter is that you now have ways and excuses to visit those friends!

California here I come! (also, you do know you're welcome to NY any time)

What job did you quit? Did you have another job waiting? I could really use some insight on this so please share your experience

i had a job when i came out to california with a company that didn't really treat me as well as i would have liked (i had the job all through the last semester of school). i was scared to just leave the job because i didnt want to be without a way to pay bills. the job was related, sort of, to the field i wanted to be in, but it wasn't really going to go anywhere. so what i did was kept the job while i continued to look for a new one. after about a month of being out here i found a new job that i was really excited about. breaking the news to my current company was difficult, and they were angry with me for leaving, but i knew i had to do what was best for myself. i am so much happier now. more money, more fun and more directly related to what i wanted to be doing in the long run.

visit San Fran anytime! you have a place to stay! and i must get to NYC soon! i have only been once!

Yeah my job is pretty awesome. Theater education wise I am actually gonna be teaching an improv class for teenagers come January at the Arsenal. Teaching improv (cause that is all the theater I have taught) is pretty rewarding. I could talk to Christa and see if she has any insight on it for you.

Peace,
Joe

Joe Gels you are my hero! *swoons* Congrats on the class in January and, yes, I'd love to hear what Christa has to say on the whole thing.

But yes, seeing how happy you were working at TOMB was really inspiring for me. Life is too short to be working in an office job that as exciting as dry oatmeal.
