But anyway, yeah I really liked these fics. I've read "Maurice" too, and saw the film as well (which was good though I never imagined Maurice as blonde :P XD ).

I saw the movie before I read the book (an odd occurence for me...) so, my experience was a little different. Seeing an early Hugh Grant in it was definitely appealing..haha. And blonde Maurice? I know...haha.

Cos even the name suggests non-blonde person (it means "dark-skinned" or closelike, in Latin). But they got Alec Scudder right *rowr* *lol* *cough*

The message in the bottle prompt was so beautiful.

It would be awesome if it was a full fic that they ended up on a case where Eloise was the detective. It would make me feel all fuzzy inside. :3
