I’m a bit hesitant to keep a journal when so many people will be able to read my thoughts, but I suppose as a means of communication, this is simply astonishing. I’ve never seen a book capable of connecting to others of its kind.

Then again, I’ve never been thrown naked into a field before, either. A first time for everything, I suppose. In any case ( Read more... )

You're in Rowan. You've fallen through a magical gateway into another world, and as far as any of us can tell, there is no way back.

Prodesto is the place you've come from, yes? Where is that?

Interesting. I suppose that tree had something to do with it, then?

You could call it lost, yeah. But it's not quite that simple. You can't You're st You won't be able to go home. None of us can.

You're a worldwalker, now. The natives will be very nice, but if you go to the door that looks like this [he draws the tree from the embassy door] you can talk to one of us in person.

You're from Prodesto? I don't think I've heard of it. We're probably from different worlds. Have you heard of Earth? Or New Zea

I'm barely familiar with the concept of other worlds, but... Rowan, you called it? I don't believe I've ever heard of it. I can't say I've heard of an Earth before, either.

I'll try to find that door, though. It's a bit unsettling out here. But, worldwalker?

...This might seem like a strange question, but I don't suppose there is anything called a World Eater here, is there?

The worldwalker embassy has a reading room with several books on the history of Rowan and its various magics, if that interests you.
