The whole setup of this place seems very solid and I appreciate all the work you've both put into it because it just makes life easier on the rest of us.

You guys have obviously put so much work into making this a detailed, believable world, and that is much appreciated. I'm loving the glimpses of metaplot we've seen so far, and I'm excited to see what's coming in the future. You've also been patient with the never-ending questions, so thanks for that.
However. Several of the players have RL connections with you guys, and that does show at times. Less so now than in the beginning, and it's probably impossible to entirely avoid, but it has been kind of an issue at times.
Despite being all elf-y and weird about emotions and crap, Mikney and Quahl are really interesting characters and I care about what's going on with them even if they're sort of, uh, bad guys. In ways.
The Dryads = awesome. Nuff said.
Arlen is amazing so far, I really want to get to know him better. He seems a lot different from Mikney and Quahl and I just want to know why.
Devorah is really interesting because my first instinct is to not trust her but because I feel the exact opposite about Arlen, I guess it's possible she's just intimidating and not lying, hahah.
The sylph that came into the city was really cool. It was really interesting to see it interacting with everyone like they're animals to be studied or something. :P
Tobin amuses me greatly. Also, Robin Williams was a great choice. <3

I have not encountered as many of the NPCs as others, but I can say that each one I've met has been very distinct. I appreciate their different personalities. In particular, Quahl, Tamber, and Mikney have each conveyed unique voices.
My main concern is that he's staying in character. I think I tend to be a little inconsistent with his personality at times. Hopefully you guys have specific stuff for me to work on. <3
Honestly, I think Bret is doing very well. I wasn't so sure about him as a character, at first, but he's giving a comedic break and a touch of humanity to the cast that otherwise might not be there.
I'm not totally sure about the canon on this, but I'd try to make sure that he's not being too helpless or passive. I've heard you say that you think Bret isn't a main character of this RP - he totally is! Don't be afraid to generate plot for him.
I think that's my biggest challenge. But once there's more action going on, I think he's going to overcome his shyness and cowardice in order to help his friends. Which...sounds lame and cliched when you write it out like that. :P
I'm really enjoying Bret a lot. In these beginning days, he's definitely handling a situation that's way beyond his experience with pretty good strength and poise, give or take a fainting spell.
I'm looking forward to see how he evolves within Rowan and becomes more and more a part of a world that is completely alien to him. I'd love to see him start using magic at some point. Or a sword. And not just for comic effect.
I like how Cherry is strong enough to put her own feelings aside (at least, mostly) when it comes to what she thinks is right. And her powers are really cool, bird and otherwise. I think she and Bret should hang out more. <3
I'm looking forward to seeing Bret and Cassandra meet. I predict confusion.
I probably shouldn't talk because I ship everyone with everyone, but I think Bret and Cherry would make a really cute couple. But I'll settle for friends. XD
Cordy is really interesting. It's obvious you are very comfortable with her character- she's very consistent. I like the dynamic she has with the people around her and the fact that her relationships are all unique- a lot of people play flirtatious and outgoing characters as complete sluts, and you've managed to avoid that.
Thanks! That's one of the biggest concerns I have with Cordy, actually. I really enjoy playing the outgoing part of her personality, but she's definitely not supposed to come across as a ho or anything. I try to make her classy-flirty, I guess? So I'm glad that's working, I worry about it sometimes.
If it isn't already obvious, I adore Cordy. I love that she retains her personality and charm and charisma, but underneath there's a lot of vulnerability dealing with her husband, as well as sadness over leaving the crystal realm.

How're we doing? What could be improved? Is there anything you'd like to see in the game that you haven't so far?

Yeah, there's definitely stuff going on with Arlen and Devorah. I hope you enjoy the truth when it emerges.

I look forward to encountering more non-elf NPCs.

Still trying to find equilibrium between her Maureen self and her Joann self.
Cassandra cassie-of-troy
Haven't done much with her, but I'm hoping to find the balance between her protective armor of crazy and her curious inner self.
