So! I realized that I don't know anything about most of your characters' canons. And this is probably true for a lot of people, since we have a ton of variety, plus OCs. So this is a post to give some tidbits/explanation on your characters and their backgrounds.

Now for Ianto. Not going to do Ginny -- HP canon is insanely easy to find info on, and everyone here probably already knows it anyway.

Torchwood is a spin-off of Doctor Who, and if you think I'm going to explain that canon, YOU ARE INSANE. Suffice to say that Ianto grew up in a normal world just like we did, only he got recruited to a secret organization dedicated to protecting the planet from alien invasion when he was twenty years old. Aliens have made several public appearances in his world since then. Despite this, many people insist on not believing in them, but everyone who's in the know does
