What: Meeting up before woods expedition
When: Monday night
Where: Outside the woods
Cordelia walked out of the city walls, looking around. It was close to dark now, the others would start showing up soon. Clutched in one hand was her journal, and her blanket was held in the other. She didn't like being out here, she felt exposed and open, but it wasn't too bad yet. Later, when it was dark, she knew she wouldn't feel so secure. She walked towards the ominous forest, glancing around to see if anyone else had arrived yet. What was the best vantage point between the city gates and the forest? She wasn't sure what she was looking out for anymore. Someone going in or someone coming out?
When she finally settled on a spot, she spread her blanket out onto the ground and sat. She wished she had a book, or some embroidery material, or a puppy to play with. She wondered if people had pets in Rowan. She'd ask the elves about that another day. For now, she set her journal down beside her and hugged her legs to her chest, waiting for the others to begin arriving.
