Susan stopped craning her neck to search the group and instead turned her head to look up at the man speaking to her. She had seen him a few times in the last few days, hard not to start recognizing faces when all you had to do was walk across sand and stare at each other for entertainment. Still, she did not know him. They'd never spoken until now.
"My brother." She answered simply. It wasn't that she was putting on airs or trying to otherwise be uncharitable, but Susan was not in the habit of volunteering information that she didn't have to give. "I don't believe we've been introduced before."
