Cherry quickly made her way in the direction of the waterfall. She had no real idea where this person was, but she was trusting in her ability to find him. Her only concern was that she wouldn't make it before the sun set completely and took away her thumbs and her ability to speak Common. That would make this a whole lot harder.
Oh screw it. "Hello," she called, cupping her hands around her mouth. "Hello?" She kept moving even as she strained to hear a response, her pockets jingling with the various and sundry items she had been collecting for the last few weeks.
Demyx was leaning against a rock near the waterfall. He remembered something about a fever with scorpion stings, but it was the desert so it was kind of hard to tell. Hearing someone call, he called out, "Hello!" right back. Maybe this was the... person who said they'd come help. He didn't actually know who it was, but any help was good right now.
Lexington was stirred from his sleep by the two people calling out to each other. The sun hadn't set yet, which made him sigh. This normal sleeping thing was a bit hard to get used to.
Deciding to investigate, he slipped along in the direction of the voices. He spotted Damyx first, noting that he didn't look at all well. "Hey...are you okay?"
Demyx looked up at the... ok he wasn't entirely sure what that was, but it was talking to him so he smiled a little. "Uh. Sort of. Got stung by scorpion. Watch where you walk and stuff, ok?" He'd stepped by it (or on it, he wasn't sure) in the sand, but it never hurt to be a little careful. "So, um. I haven't seen you before. I'm Demyx."
