Jak was in a hurry. He didn't know if the time was fixed, and found he didn't care either. Ignoring everything else he ran towards the only link he had to...anything, really.
While this was nice and all, following this map was quite the challenge while he was in such a hurry. So, while Dax had to wait two days, Jak found himself late by only a few hours. He was also not expecting his friend to greet him. "Dax. You look..."
Daxter blinked when he was apparently spoken to. This guy was the closest thing to normal he'd seen since arrival, and looked familiar. He couldn't place a name with the face though and finally just came out and asked. "Do I know you? You look familiar."
Oh, this was typical. Jak had received his best friend once again. In this case, Daxter was too young to recognize him.
Though he really should have been able to put two and two together, but then again, neither of them(to his personal knowledge) claimed to be the brains.
"By the Precursors Dax. You really can't figure it out?" It must have been the striking goatee he'd grown in.
"No, can't say I can," Daxter started, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "Although there is something really familiar about you..." His first guess would've been Jak's dad, but no one had ever seen the guy so that probably wasn't it. Maybe he was related to the silent buddy somehow? "Hey are you related to a mute kid with greenish-blonde hair who's almost as stylish as me?"
