I often long for those days. Life was slower and kinder. I sometimes think I was born a couple of decades too late.
As for the wall paper, it's not that bad; how about red with black flocking!

Red with black flocking... I guess gold stripes are not too bad. I was more longing for the days when siblingness was easier... as the more we grow up, the more I realize how different we really are...

Very true. My sister I were very close growing up and for many years we drifted apart, different lifestyles, distance. Since my breast cancer diagnosis though we have been building a new relationship. It's one of the good things that has come out of my cancer experience.
